Lily Rose Grant (b. 1993, London, UK) studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and later English and History of Art at the University of York. This education in both the creative and academic spheres continues to inform her practice, spanning drawing, prints and paintings. 

Memory, observation and imagination are central to her artwork. The goal to make art approachable and accessible for all underpins her practice, across painting, printmaking, illustration and teaching. The art workshops she leads (for clients such as Soho House and ArtFund) champion drawing as a tool for all, resisting the idea that creativity belongs only to the trained, the elite, or those who are already ‘good’.

Her work is also currently held in the permanent collection of the National Football Museum in the form of the football shirts that Grant designed to commemorate the 50 year ban that the FA enforced on women playing football.

Grant has exhibited widely across the UK, in 2025 she had a solo exhibition ‘Glimpses’ at Lauderdale House (Highgate, London) and her work was shown in a group show ‘Iterations’ at Florence Trust (Highbury, London). In September 2026 she will show her work for the first time alongside her life partner and fellow artist, Jack Sutherland, at The Florence Trust in Highbury, London.

Grant has also worked on a number of artwork commissions and projects for a range of clients, including TikTok, Major League Baseball, BBC Radio 4 and the Royal Theatrical Fund.
